About The Position

This role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF). This is a full-time position (3.5-5 days/week) within Monday - Friday, with no nights or weekends. The role involves onsite patient care and remote documentation. The coverage area includes St. Joseph, Missouri, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted MO state license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C
- Active DEA or willingness to obtain
- 1 year of experience needed as a PMHNP or Psych PA
Nice To Haves
- Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
- Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
