About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in local retail stores, placing impulse products, building displays, and working with store personnel. Merchandisers work independently and with store teams to support merchandising programs and create shopping experiences. The role offers daytime hours, a predictable schedule, paid training, mileage and travel time between stores, and opportunities for advancement. The position is listed at 10–15 hours per month and pays $19–$20 per hour. Eligible new hires who start between October 1 and November 30 receive a $500 sign-on bonus, payable in two installments.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours; lifting up to 50 pounds; crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Seward, Alaska 99664.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
