Merchandiser - Los Angeles - $500 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
As a Merchandiser at Breakthru Beverage, you will creatively showcase brands through building displays, managing inventory, and handling product placement. The role involves merchandising at new and existing accounts and developing knowledge of beer, wine, and/or spirits. The job requires a vehicle and travel to customer locations. Employees must responsibly handle beverage alcohol products and interact safely and responsibly with the public. Other duties may be assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor. The listed compensation is $21.60–$23.35 per hour, with a $500 sign-on bonus and mileage reimbursement at 70 cents per business mile driven. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, company salary ranges, market data, the applicant’s skills, and relevant experience.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old to apply.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Have strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment.
- Be able to work occasional weekends.
- Be able to lift and carry 45–65 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Stock and rotate shelves at new and existing accounts.
- Build displays.
- Manage point-of-sale materials.
- Perform store resets for remodels, grand openings, or seasonal changes.
- Build rapport with key account relationships and obtain feedback on merchandising activities.
- Share feedback with appropriate sales team members.
- Identify brand and category opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold-box facings.
- Communicate out-of-stock or new-item opportunities.
- Learn and grow knowledge of beer, wine, and/or spirits, including brands and customers.
- Handle beverage alcohol products responsibly and conduct safe, responsible interactions with the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.
