About The Position

As a part-time Hallmark Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will work with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, the role may involve working with other companies’ products in serviced stores. You will service Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. The work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products; communicating with your supervisor and reporting time and activity using a Hallmark-provided mobile device; and interacting courteously with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the full Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. The work follows seasonal demand. Around major holidays, you can expect additional days and longer hours during the work week. You may be required to work on certain holidays, including weekends. You may also join teams performing fixture installation, department relocation, and card-section resets; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evening or weekend work. This is a physically demanding role involving work on sales floors and in back stockrooms. You must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The work also involves kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout the workday, and may require climbing stairs and step ladders. Starting pay is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The position has a variable work-week schedule and averages 9–12 hours per week. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care). Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
