About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain displays and inventory, and build relationships with store teams. You are responsible for the Hallmark product display at your assigned stores and use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Stores may include grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role may occasionally include work with other companies’ products in serviced stores.

Work includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory; seasonal holiday support; and participating in department resets, installations, fixture building, and card-section relocations. You may support fellow merchandisers in their territories as needed. The schedule varies during the work week and averages 7–17 hours per week. Additional days or extended hours are expected around major holidays, and some holiday work may include weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may take place in evenings or on weekends.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory and displays in assigned retail stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a mobile device to access documents, report time, communicate with a supervisor, provide feedback, and complete required activity surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support around seasonal holidays, including possible extended hours, additional workdays, or work on the holiday itself.
• Assist with seasonal resets, installations, building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
