About The Position

WP Beverages is hiring a full-time Merchandiser/Stocker for the Lafayette, Indiana area. The role executes Pepsi Cola marketing strategies and maintains appropriate service levels in assigned accounts. It focuses on safely and efficiently maintaining product availability across shelves, coolers, displays, back rooms, and point-of-purchase areas, while pursuing additional shelf, display, and cooler space. The position works with account team members to reduce out-of-date and damaged product, communicate opportunities, and resolve issues. The work supports profitable growth through beverage sales, efficient distribution, customer service, and customer-focused marketing programs.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with willingness to work weekends when needed. The listed pay is $24.75 per hour. The role requires frequent lifting and moving of product. Applicants must be authorized to work permanently in the United States; the company does not sponsor employment visas.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; applicants must also comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties.
• High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when needed.
• Valid state driver's license and personal auto insurance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, and a professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively from floor to waist, chest, or shoulder height, and pull a cart with a load weighing up to 220 pounds.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Execute Pepsi Cola's marketing strategies and order product while maintaining appropriate service levels in assigned accounts.

• Pursue additional shelf, display, and cooler space.
• Work with team members to minimize out-of-date and damaged product in assigned accounts.
• Communicate proactively with account team members to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
• Support profitable growth through beverage sales, efficient distribution, superior customer service, and customer-focused marketing programs.
