About The Position

The Grader examines and grades donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia’s stores and online. This work supports the organization’s job-training programs for people facing barriers to employment. The role processes goods to meet daily production goals and may move between work areas as needed. Employees are expected to follow training and work instructions, support a positive guest experience, work cooperatively with colleagues, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

Good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
Must be 18 or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift. Individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.

Perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Follow safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries to management.
Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
