As a Hallmark Merchandiser Floater, you work independently in the Hallmark departments of various retail stores, coordinating with local store teams to optimize product placement and inventory. You are responsible for the Hallmark product displays at assigned stores and may also help colleagues in their territories with seasonal resets, installations, and inventory support. The role may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in stores you service. This part-time position has a variable weekday schedule and averages 6–15 hours per week. Workload and hours may increase around holidays and seasonal changeovers. Availability the week before and after major holidays is required, and this may include weekends. Some holiday work may be required on the holiday itself. Resets and remodel assignments may involve evenings or weekends; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring products, communicating with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys using a Hallmark-provided mobile device. The position also includes professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and display fixtures. Employees with work schedules under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
