Requirements

Bachelor's degree
At least two years of buying experience, preferably in off-price, mass retail, or other aspects of retail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of the market, current trends, and forecasting for next season.
Experience shopping the competition.
Proven success in leading a team and managing a business.
Passion for retail and fashion.
Strong desire to join a growing organization with a history of success.

Responsibilities

Achieve business objectives while managing a team of Associate and Assistant Buyers.
Strategically own a business and manage a team.
Collaborate weekly with the Planning team.
Build and maintain strong vendor and market relationships.
Negotiate effectively.
Identify fashion trends and understand price points for merchandise.
Monitor sales and execute promotions.
Work closely with key marketing and ecommerce partners.
Successfully drive sales plans.
Lead, motivate, engage, and inspire a team.
Provide leadership and training to others.
