About The Position

Marshalls Merchandise Associates deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. They uphold operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates promote a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provide and receive recognition and constructive feedback. The role may include ringing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, recovering and maintaining the sales floor and store, and supporting shrink-reduction and safety programs. Other duties may be assigned. The position is located at Marshalls Store 0467 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Starting pay is $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The position offers benefits, with eligibility for some benefits dependent on service or hours requirements.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor accurately and according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
