About The Position

Merchandise Associates help deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. They adhere to operational, merchandising, safety, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role is at Marshalls Store 0467 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, at 12 Miracle Mile Ctr Rt 22. Starting pay is $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
