About The Position

The MDen (Official Team Store of Michigan Athletics), operated by Legends, is seeking a Merchandise Associate. Legends is a global leader in sports and entertainment, providing a comprehensive service solution platform to clients. Legends Global Merchandise specializes in creating customized, customer-centric, omnichannel shopping experiences for fans, operating in-venue, e-commerce, and pop-up locations. This role is crucial in creating the ultimate game day experience for fans by providing exceptional customer service, engaging merchandise displays, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, an outgoing personality, enjoy selling, thrive in team environments, and excel at building relationships with fans.

Requirements

Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan base
Greet guests & ascertain their interest, so you may make sales recommendations
Excellent accuracy when using POS systems
Demonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, & any other tasks assigned by supervisor
Present merchandise to increase sales with add on items
Must be able to describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain use
Keep current on promotions & sales in store: and events at the M-Den
Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts.
Assist in inventory
Continually increase knowledge of products, facilities, and all events held at the University of Michigan
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Must be able to read & implement plan-o-grams
Assist the Gift Shop set-up team with the merchandising of event gift shops including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, cleaning of shops & fixtures
