About The Position
Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield is hiring an experienced automotive technician to join its service team in Fairfield, California. The technician will diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including addressing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns. The role works with luxury vehicles, advanced automotive systems, diagnostic equipment, specialized tools, and manufacturer technical information. Requirements
- Professional automotive technician or mechanic experience.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
- Experience working with modern automotive electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and technical repair resources.
- Commitment to quality workmanship, productivity, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns.
- Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and other automotive repairs.
- Complete routine maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services.
- Use diagnostic scanners, specialized tools, and technical service information.
- Identify repair needs and ensure work meets Mercedes-Benz quality standards.
- Accurately document repairs, inspections, and services.
- Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to support efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay current with automotive technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer training.
