About The Position
Holder Construction is seeking a MEP Senior Engineer to join its MEP team in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This is a full-time, in-person role supporting a fabrication facility that manufactures electrical equipment and related products. The position oversees mechanical and electrical projects and supports the operation, reliability, installation, and modification of manufacturing equipment, utility systems, and building infrastructure in an active fabrication and manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or commercial environments.
- Experience managing mechanical and electrical projects within active manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial facilities.
- Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control.
- Strong ability to manage relationships with facility leadership, owners' representatives, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electrical equipment manufacturing, industrial facilities, fabrication operations, or advanced manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical and electrical projects, upgrades, maintenance initiatives, and facility improvements in an active fabrication and manufacturing environment.
- Supervise mechanical and electrical trade contractors, vendors, and service providers supporting facility operations.
- Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems from planning through completion.
- Support the operation, reliability, installation, and modification of complex manufacturing equipment, utility systems, and building infrastructure.
- Partner with facility leadership, operations teams, and external partners to minimize production disruptions and maintain safe, efficient operations.
