About The Position

The Mental Health Worker participates in planning and evaluating patient needs based on patient behaviors. The role provides direct patient care in accordance with treatment plans and under the direction of a professional nurse, and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures. New clinical staff begin extended clinical orientation and training immediately after their first day of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Nice To Haves

• A degree related to Human Services, or prior direct care or related experience, is strongly preferred.
