Athena Care has been providing high-quality, accessible mental health care for over twenty years. They offer a comprehensive range of services including psychological testing, IOP/PHP, Spravato/IM Ketamine, TMS, psychotherapy, group therapy, and general psychiatry. They are seeking a therapist near Memphis, or anywhere in Tennessee, to join their growing team. The company emphasizes supporting their clinicians and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Tennessee licensure in good standing (LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or LMFT) or provisional licensure with ability to work under supervision.
- Comfortable with EMR systems and standard tech tools.
- HIPAA-savvy and committed to ethical, patient-centered practice.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience providing mental health services.
- BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or children navigating behavioral health challenges.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Write progress notes and maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate regularly with the broader care team.
- Maintain licensure and act as a thoughtful, engaged member of the team.
