Mental Health Therapist (Provisional or Full Licensure)

Athena Care has been offering high quality, accessible mental health care for over twenty years. We are an insurance-based practice growing across Tennessee, and we're looking for a therapist near Clarksville to join our team. We offer psychological testing, IOP/PHP, Spravato/IM Ketamine, TMS, psychotherapy, group therapy, and general psychiatry. This means patients receive genuinely comprehensive care, and clinicians get unique and interesting colleagues. Requirements
- Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Tennessee licensure in good standing (LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or LMFT).
- Open to those with provisional licensure who can work under supervision.
- Comfortable with EMR systems and standard tech tools.
- HIPAA-savvy and committed to ethical, patient-centered practice.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience providing mental health services preferred.
- BLS Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or children navigating behavioral health challenges.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Write progress notes.
- Collaborate regularly with the broader care team.
- Keep documentation timely and accurate in our EMR.
- Maintain licensure.
- Be a thoughtful, engaged member of the team.
