About The Position
We are looking for an independently licensed therapist to provide virtual care to clients throughout Rhode Island. In this role, you’ll spend your day meeting with clients, understanding the challenges they are facing, and helping them work toward meaningful goals through therapy. You will manage your own schedule of client sessions, complete necessary clinical documentation, and provide care using your professional judgment and experience. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys focused therapy work and the flexibility of a remote setting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Active Rhode Island LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC license
- Experience providing outpatient therapy services
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and professional communication
- Ability to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
Responsibilities
- Hold virtual therapy sessions with clients using a secure telehealth platform
- Build rapport with clients and create a supportive environment for open conversations
- Evaluate client concerns and determine appropriate treatment approaches
- Help clients develop strategies to manage emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions
- Establish and revisit therapy goals based on client progress
- Maintain clear and timely session notes and clinical records
- Complete required assessments and documentation as part of ongoing care
- Follow Rhode Island licensing requirements, confidentiality guidelines, and professional standards
