About The Position

Innovative Care Services is a Wisconsin-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing the highest quality of life for individuals through residential, in-home, and youth/adult mental health services. The organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in supporting individuals with mental health concerns, teaching them to overcome barriers and develop appropriate social behaviors. Requirements

Must be a kind, compassionate, and dedicated individual.
Hourly Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour based on degree level.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting individuals with mental health concerns such as social anxiety and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

Provide support to individuals with various mental health diagnoses.
Help integrate clients into the community and teach essential life skills.
Assist with medication management (if applicable to the program in which hired for) and linking clients to necessary resources.
Serve as a positive role model for clients.
Meet with our Mental Health Professional as needed for supervision support.
Participate in case management and team meetings as requested.
Complete documentation to CCS standards within 24 hours of client contact.
Complete required trainings related to degree level.
Complete annual continuing education and ongoing training as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
