About The Position

The Mental Health Program Manager coordinates and supervises one to two residential programs serving individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. Key priorities include supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring that all aspects of each program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. This is a full-time organizational position, though the role may be part-time within any given home. The schedule must be flexible to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs. The manager is always on call unless prior arrangements are made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls. The manager ensures direct-service shifts are staffed by employees who meet Dungarvin’s employment conditions and have been adequately oriented and trained. Managers may occasionally cover direct-service shifts, normally for no more than 16 hours per week. If more than 16 hours of direct service is needed in a work week, the manager must notify their supervisor in advance, or as soon as possible if advance notice is not possible. Any needed schedule adjustment should be arranged with the director. The listed annual starting salary is $65,000 to $66,787.50, based on experience and potentially varying with skills and qualifications. A $5,000 retention bonus is offered.
