The Mental Health Program Manager coordinates and supervises one to two residential programs serving individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. The role’s key priorities are supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring that all aspects of each program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. This is a full-time organizational position, although the role may be part-time within any given home. The schedule must be flexible to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs. The manager is always on-call unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls. The manager ensures all direct-service shifts are filled by staff who meet Dungarvin’s employment conditions and are adequately oriented and trained. The manager may occasionally work direct-service shifts, normally not exceeding 16 hours per week. If more than 16 hours are necessary in a work week, the manager must notify their supervisor in advance when possible, or as soon as possible otherwise. Schedule adjustments should be arranged with the director when necessary. Starting salary is $65,000–$66,787.50 annually, based on experience; the range may vary with an individual’s skills and qualifications. The posting also advertises a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 and lists a $5,000 retention bonus.
