About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join its team at Dade Correctional Institution in Florida City, Florida. The role provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care. Services include intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and individual and group therapy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Master's-level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited educational institution.
- Active Florida mental health professional license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) or status as a Mental Health Registered Intern.
- Active BLS certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two years' experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness.
