About The Position

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of experienced Advanced Practice Providers to deliver compassionate, virtual medical care to patients navigating perimenopause and menopause. Providers work within an integrated care model alongside each patient’s registered dietitian and therapist, with autonomy over their clinical judgment and schedule. The role uses a per-visit compensation model, with approximate earnings equivalent to $100–$120 per active visit hour; rates vary by visit type, length, and timing. Pomelo supports providers with patient matching, scheduling, commercial payer credentialing, billing, clinical supervision support, and documentation tools. Providers may accept or decline visit opportunities, and Pomelo does not guarantee a minimum number of visits, patients, or compensation. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a W-2 position. Contractors are not eligible for employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, workers’ compensation, or unemployment benefits. Onboarding includes two 30-minute video conversations, verification of licensure and active personal liability insurance, commercial health plan enrollment in Massachusetts facilitated by Pomelo, and a standard background screening.
