Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Advanced Practice Providers to deliver expert, compassionate virtual care to people navigating perimenopause and menopause. Providers work with autonomy and set their own schedules as part of an integrated, multi-specialty care model that includes a dedicated medical provider, registered dietitian, and therapist. The role is a 1099 independent contractor position, not W-2 employment, and Pomelo does not guarantee a minimum number of visits, patients, or compensation. Providers conduct synchronous video visits, assess symptoms, develop individualized care plans, and prescribe or manage medications—including hormone therapy, GLP-1s, and non-hormonal options—when clinically appropriate. They partner with patients over time to assess treatment effectiveness, manage symptom progression, and support long-term wellness. Pomelo supports the practice by handling patient matching, scheduling, commercial payer credentialing, billing, and clinical supervision support, and by providing documentation tools. Providers may accept or decline visit opportunities and are expected to commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week. Compensation is a competitive per-visit model, with approximate earnings equivalent to $100–$120 per active visit hour; rates vary by visit type, length, and timing. Optional case consultations, provider forums, and clinical updates are available to support independent practice and professional development. Independent contractors are not eligible for employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, workers’ compensation, or unemployment benefits.
