About The Position

The Memory Care Unit Charge Nurse/Coordinator is a supervisory position responsible for ensuring the Thrive program is implemented daily and facilitated by Life Enrichment Coordinators, Life Enrichment Assistants, and direct care team members. The role provides general oversight of the Courtyard community in cooperation with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator. The coordinator works closely with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to ensure the program is functional and appropriate.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment, prioritize duties, and solve problems effectively.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s progression in older adults.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Active licensure as an LPN or RN in Missouri.
