About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for their Hudson, Ohio location. This PRN position involves creating human connections with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the stage for a successful day by preparing various environments. The role also includes partnering with residents throughout their daily lives, documenting resident care, and assisting with team member orientation in memory care neighborhoods. The starting wage is $19.00-$21.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Observe residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up libraries and preparing resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
