About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for their Hudson, Ohio location. This PRN position focuses on creating human connections with residents, understanding their individual needs, and implementing engagement plans with patience. The role involves setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for various activities and routines, and partnering with residents throughout their daily lives. Key responsibilities include documenting resident care and changes in condition, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up activity spaces and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
