About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow in Stow, Ohio. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule and a starting wage of $18-$22 per hour. The role involves being an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connections with residents, being a "Patient Observer" to understand residents' interests and abilities, and a "Master of the Mise en Scène" by preparing the environment for resident experiences. You will also act as a "Life Partner," assisting residents with daily life activities, documenting care, and orienting new team members to memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Active, as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Prepare the dining room for breakfast, set up the library for an event, and prepare the resident’s room for their nighttime routine.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
