Memory Care Support Partner 7am-3pm $18-26.25 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Charles. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the stage for a successful day by preparing the environment. The Memory Care Support Partner will also assist residents with daily life activities, document resident care, and help orient new team members in the memory care neighborhoods. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on residents' quality of life in a home-like environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
- Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing the environment (e.g., dining room, library, resident rooms).
- Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
- Document resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
