About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Peters. This part-time role involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, developing engagement plans, preparing the environment for daily activities and routines, and partnering with residents throughout their day. Accurate documentation of resident care and changes in condition is essential, as is assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, setting up for events, and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
