About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Memory Care Support Partner for Holliday Farms Senior Living in Zionsville, IN. This role focuses on creating human connection with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for their daily experiences. The position involves partnering with residents throughout their day, documenting care, and assisting with team member orientation. The starting wage is $20.00-$22.00 per hour for the Wednesday & Thursday 7pm-7am shift.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
  • Prepare the dining room for breakfast, set up the library for an event, and prepare resident’s room for their nighttime routine.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
