About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner for their Vitalia Highland Heights community. This role is crucial in creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments, acting as an advocate of empathy. The ideal candidate will be present, share their talents, and be someone others can count on. They will contribute to an inclusive and positive environment by investing wholeheartedly in their work, team members, and the community. Curiosity and a commitment to personal development, growth, and training are also highly valued. This position involves proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Be present and share talents to support residents and team members.
  • Contribute to an inclusive and positive environment.
  • Be curious, ask questions, and engage in personal development, growth, and training.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Assist persons after a fall.
