About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Boulevard Wentzville. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $17 per hour and involves providing essential care and creating meaningful connections with residents. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, computer skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to communicate effectively in English. Criminal clearance is also required.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents to be a reliable team member.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing wholeheartedly in work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and engage in personal development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
