About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Holliday Farms Senior Living in Zionsville, IN. This role focuses on creating human connection with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for a successful day. The Memory Care Support Partner will assist residents with daily life activities, document resident care, and help orient new team members. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, have a positive attitude, possess basic computer skills, and are physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be criminally cleared.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
  • Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, event spaces, and resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
