About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Active Adult Community at Montrose. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule and a starting wage of $18.25 - $27.25 per hour. As an "Advocate of Empathy," you will create human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. As a "Patient Observer," you will discover residents' interests and abilities to create appropriate engagement plans. As a "Master of the Mise en Scène," you will be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for various activities and routines. As a "Life Partner," you will assist residents with all facets of their daily lives. This role also involves documenting resident care and changes in condition, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for various activities and routines.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
