About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for The Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, Kansas. This PRN position focuses on creating human connection with residents, understanding their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments. The role involves partnering with residents throughout their daily lives and documenting resident care and changes in condition. Additionally, the Memory Care Support Partner will assist with orienting new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing within state of employment.
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
