About The Position

Our starting wage for Memory Care Support Partner is: $18.00-$24.75 per hour! Come join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights located at 305 Bishop Rd. Highland Heights, Ohio 44143! We are looking for someone (like you) to be an Advocate of Empathy, a Patient Observer, a Master of the Mise en Scène, and a Life Partner. This role requires excellent documentation of resident care and changes in condition, and assisting with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, setting up for events, and preparing resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
