About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. This full-time position involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, developing engagement plans, preparing the environment for daily activities, and partnering with residents throughout their day. Excellent documentation of resident care and assisting with team member orientation are also key aspects of this role. We are looking for individuals who are at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, have computer skills for documentation, and are physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. A positive and energetic attitude is essential, along with the ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall care. Candidates must also be criminally cleared.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing the dining room for breakfast to setting up the library for an event, to preparing the resident’s room for their nighttime routine.
Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
