About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for The Crestone Senior Living in Olathe, Kansas. This part-time role focuses on creating human connections with residents, understanding their needs, and setting the stage for a successful day. The position involves partnering with residents throughout their daily routines, documenting care, and assisting with team member orientation in memory care neighborhoods. The starting wage is $18.50-$24.00 per hour for the Friday & Saturday 11pm-7am shift.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
Positive and energetic attitude.
Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up spaces for events and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines.
Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
