About The Position

Clarendale West End is hiring a Memory Care Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate meaningful activities that suit residents’ needs and interests and support their physical, mental, and social well-being. This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week, with varying hours between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Weekend work is required. The stated salary is $20 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six months of experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment preferred.
• Memory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities and special events in accordance with the community’s Life Enrichment programs, including Lifestyles and Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program.
• Promote a healthy community culture for residents and employees.
• Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff on disease prevention and management as part of the Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program.
• Lead daily resident activities according to community standards.
• Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to community standards.
• Plan and execute diverse, engaging programs for residents with varied needs, including newly retired seniors, seniors needing physical assistance, and seniors at different stages of memory loss.
