About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Homemaker to join our team at Pinnacle Groves in Rogers, AR. This part-time role focuses on creating a welcoming, comfortable, and tidy atmosphere in our memory care neighborhood. You will be responsible for preparing and serving meals family-style, ensuring residents have access to snacks and hydration, and engaging residents in meaningful activities. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have excellent communication skills in English. A positive and energetic attitude is essential, as is the ability to be active throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. This role requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobility and after falls. Candidates must be criminally cleared.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be active: requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas.
  • Prepare and serve family-style dining, guiding residents to participate in mealtime experiences.
  • Ensure residents are offered snacks and hydration three times a day.
  • Engage residents and provide meaningful experiences as extra hands in the Neighborhood.
