About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a Full Time position at The Boulevard Wentzville in Wentzville, Missouri. The role involves creating human connection with residents, observing and understanding their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, preparing the environment for resident activities and routines, partnering with residents throughout their day, documenting resident care, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods. The company emphasizes an "Advocate of Empathy" approach, requiring patience and a focus on the resident experience.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Observe residents' interests, abilities, and unique characteristics to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
  • Prepare the physical environment for a successful day, including dining areas, event spaces, and resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
