About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a Full Time position at The Boulevard Wentzville. This role involves creating human connection with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and managing the environment to facilitate a successful day. The position also includes partnering with residents throughout their daily lives, documenting care, and assisting with team member orientation. The company emphasizes empathy, patience, and a positive attitude in its team members.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Must possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about residents.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Observe residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, setting up spaces for events, and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
