The Membership Sales and Service staff members are responsible for achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional service and for processing transactions in an accurate and efficient manner. This role involves demonstrating strong support and commitment to the mission and core values of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka and the YMCA in Canada, as well as serving the membership, facility users, and all program participants. The position requires delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, completing transactions efficiently and accurately, and maintaining a neat, clean, safe, and organized service area. A strong working knowledge of all YMCA programs and services is essential, along with the ability to respond to inquiries clearly and informatively, explore customer needs with probing questions, and engage in friendly dialogue to promote a sense of belonging. The role also includes communicating service and safety deficiencies to the Manager on Duty, maintaining confidentiality, and completing other duties as assigned, adhering to all provincial and federal legislation.
