About The Position

Waves Express Car Wash is hiring a full-time Membership Sales Associate in Greenville, South Carolina. The role combines customer-facing membership sales with car wash operations, cleaning, and administrative responsibilities. The associate helps customers understand and purchase Wash Club Memberships, works toward sales goals, and provides a welcoming customer experience. The position also involves guiding vehicles, maintaining wash facilities and equipment, processing transactions, keeping records, and supporting the team’s daily operations. Employees work outdoors in varying weather conditions and may stand for shifts of eight hours or more. Previous sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers and explain the benefits of Wash Club Memberships and available wash services.
Promote and sell Wash Club Memberships while working toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
Build customer relationships and provide a positive, welcoming experience.
Answer questions, address concerns, and resolve customer issues professionally.
Represent the Waves brand with a positive attitude and maintain a clean, presentable sales area.
Guide vehicles safely into the wash tunnel and check for loose parts, antennas, bumpers, headlights, and aftermarket accessories.
Identify vehicles requiring special attention or pre-wash preparation, including those with heavy dirt or dirty tires and rims.
Assist with opening and closing procedures and complete assigned checklists.
Monitor, refill, or change chemical levels and assist with preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs as needed.
Maintain clean vacuum areas, the tunnel, parking lot, and customer amenities.
Perform cleaning tasks such as emptying trash, cleaning windows, wiping down equipment, sweeping the parking lot, and pressure washing designated areas.
Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions.
Enter new membership applications and assist customers with account updates.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and membership information.
Complete required hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and reports.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
Work with site leadership and teammates to support smooth daily operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
