As the Membership Director, you'll lead all membership growth initiatives for the studio. You'll be responsible for acquiring new members, retaining existing members, and creating an exceptional client journey from the first interaction through long-term engagement. This role blends consultative sales, business development, community outreach, marketing execution, and leadership to ensure the studio consistently achieves its membership and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of sales leadership, business development, membership sales, or client relationship management experience.
  • Proven success achieving sales goals and growing recurring revenue.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping others live healthier lives.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in health, wellness, fitness, hospitality, retail, or membership-based businesses preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own all membership acquisition goals and performance metrics.
  • Execute sales strategies that consistently grow monthly recurring membership revenue.
  • Convert consultations, guest visits, and leads into long-term members.
  • Develop referral programs and strategic partnerships that generate qualified leads.
  • Track sales funnel performance and continuously improve conversion rates.
  • Deliver an exceptional first impression and onboarding experience for every new member.
  • Build authentic relationships that increase member satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade memberships and introduce additional services that support client wellness goals.
  • Proactively engage members to ensure continued utilization and long-term loyalty.
  • Resolve member concerns quickly while creating positive outcomes.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, fitness facilities, and community organizations.
  • Represent Restore at networking events, wellness fairs, and community events.
  • Develop local marketing initiatives that increase awareness and generate new memberships.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador within the local community.
  • Coach and motivate the studio team to create a culture focused on memberships and exceptional client service.
  • Reinforce consultative selling techniques through ongoing training and accountability.
  • Monitor membership KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Celebrate wins while creating action plans to overcome performance gaps.
  • Collaborate on local marketing campaigns, promotional events, and grassroots initiatives.
  • Leverage CRM tools to maximize lead conversion and follow-up.
  • Partner with studio leadership to execute monthly membership campaigns.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing members while continuously expanding the studio's reach.
