About The Position
The Membership Coordinator will be the driving force behind the residential membership program, ensuring a seamless experience for customers from enrollment through billing and account management. This role requires someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, billing, account management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
Responsibilities
- Setting up and maintaining residential membership accounts accurately and efficiently
- Processing customer invoices and ensuring timely, accurate billing
- Assisting with collections activities and resolving billing inquiries
- Providing customers with copies of invoices and account documentation as needed
- Handling customer questions and concerns via phone and email with professionalism and care
- Resolving billing discrepancies and account issues promptly
- Maintaining accurate customer records and account information
- Answering incoming calls in the Membership phone queue
- Collaborating effectively with coworkers across departments
- Delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers
- Supporting additional administrative and customer service tasks as needed
