Member Services Representative
About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides an exceptional experience for members and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a welcoming, clean, judgment-free environment and builds member engagement through friendly, consistent customer service. Responsibilities include supporting members at the welcome desk, introducing them to club amenities and fitness classes, and assisting with tours, enrollment, and other club needs. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Passion for helping others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling at least 50 pounds; standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, or crouching.
- The role may involve communicating, climbing, handling potentially hazardous chemicals, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Engage and encourage members in their fitness journeys while delivering excellent customer service.
- Help maintain a clean, judgment-free club environment.
- Find new and current members interested in joining fitness classes with a fitness trainer.
- Introduce members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and greet them upon arrival and departure.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
- Support other club responsibilities and contribute positively to the team.
