About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This is a weekend closer position, working Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The role includes front desk operations, member assistance, and helping maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening skills and ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service background preferred.
• A passion for fitness and health.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities, including answering phones and assisting callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
