About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role supports front desk operations, member account updates, club cleanliness, and a welcoming fitness environment. This is a part-time position paying $13.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Basic computer proficiency.
Upbeat and positive attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers and exceed member expectations.
Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
Ability to stand and walk continually during a shift and talk continually with members and management in person or by phone.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
May occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during a shift; training and protective equipment are provided.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, signing up new members, and taking prospective members on tours.
Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
